METHOD OF USE
The Cleaning Plate should ONLY be used with HOUSEHOLD SODA. Make sure that all objects to be cleaned, are free of loose dirt and grease.
- Use a clean NON-METAL (plastic / glass) container.
Place the Cleaning Plate on the bottom of the container. - Pour in enough hot (not boiling) water for the items you want to clean, to be fully submerged.
- Stir in, one dessertspoon of HOUSEHOLD SODA per liter water.
- Place the items to be cleaned onto the Cleaning Plate.
The objects must be completely submerged. - Many objects may be cleaned at the same time, as long as the objects are touching the Cleaning Plate, or are in contact with other objects which are touching the Cleaning Plate. Do NOT clean objects of different types of metal together. Replace the water / soda mixture after each clean.
- Allow 5 minutes maximum for the removal of the tarnish from metal objects, and 15 to 20 minutes or more to remove stains from ceramics or glass. For quick and best results with heavy tarnish and stains, lightly brush the objects while under water.
- After cleaning, rinse the objects well in clean, warm water. Immediately thoroughly dry and buff for a beautiful shine.
TIP.
When cleaning miniatures, use a brush to help along the cleaning process and when drying, use a hair dryer to finally, thoroughly dry the items.
